At Festival TODOS we celebrate a city open to all cultures, religions and languages. To make our programme accessible to everyone, we’ve prepared a selection of shows and activities that can be enjoyed by audiences regardless of the language they speak. Here they are:
Oculucis – The Eyes | 9–10 Sept. (all day) @ Jardim Constantino
Two giant illuminated spheres shaped like eyes gaze at the sky. An immersive light installation by Italian artist Hermes Mangialardo, inviting visitors to reflect on perception and imagination.
"Um olhar sobre Arroios" (A Look over Arroios) | 12 Sept. 19:00; 13–14 Sept. 10:00–19:00; 15–20 Sept. 10:00–14:00 @ Mercado de Arroios
Photo exhibition by Valentina Vannicola capturing the life and stories of Arroios through staged portraits and tableaux vivants. A collective portrait of one of Lisbon’s most diverse neighbourhoods.
Dancing Together | 12 Sept. 20:15–22:30 @ Clube Atlético de Arroios
A beginner-friendly Bachata mini-class followed by social dancing. A lively evening to learn, share and celebrate Afro-Latin rhythms.
Rozéo | 13 Sept. 12:30 & 17:30 @ Pavilhão Panóptico, Hospital Miguel Bombarda
French company Gratte Ciel brings a breathtaking aerial dance. Acrobats move gracefully on tall poles with live music, transforming the air into poetry.
Festivities at Jardim Constantino | 13 Sept. 13:00–17:00 @ Jardim Constantino
An afternoon of world food, crafts and music in a neighbourhood garden. Includes DJ Lady G Brown with African grooves and a “Hands of the World” craft fair.
Damoclès | 13 Sept. 16:00 @ Largo do Intendente
An interactive circus experience by Cirque Inextremiste. The audience becomes part of the performance, exploring trust, risk and collaboration in playful ways.
Echoes of an Oriental Dream | 13 Sept. 16:30 @ Jardins do Bombarda
A traditional Chinese music concert by the Pensamento Oriental Ensemble. Delicate solos and ensemble pieces evoke legends, landscapes and poetic traditions.
Ayom | 13 Sept. 17:30 @ Largo do Intendente
Award-winning world music band blending Brazilian, Angolan, Cape Verdean and Mediterranean sounds. A vibrant concert of rhythm, song and cultural fusion.
Boundless Trance Set | 13 Sept. 19:00–22:00 @ Largo do Intendente
DJs Bárbara Starling & Ivan Pereira with VJ Manuhell create a hypnotic trance journey. Inspired by Goa’s 1980s trance roots, mixing electronic beats with ritual energy.
TOCAS | 14 Sept. 15:00 @ Espaço Escola de Mulheres, Clube Estefânia
A family-friendly, wordless performance about home, touch and connection. A playful mix of music and theatre, suitable for children aged 3+. (Ticketed event: €4)
Yacumenza Band | 14 Sept. 16:15 @ Praça José Fontana
A new Afro-Uruguayan candombe band from Lisbon. Energetic rhythms and drums open the path for the following parade.
Marcha de Todos | 14 Sept. 17:00 @ from Praça José Fontana to Campo Mártires da Pátria
Hundreds of artists, musicians and community groups join in a colourful intercultural parade. A moving street celebration of music, dance and diversity.
Cantigas de Santa Maria | 14 Sept. 17:30 @ Igreja Evangélica Lisbonense
A reinterpretation of 13th-century songs blending spirituality and everyday life. Performed by Os Músicos do Tejo with singer Selma Uamusse and oud player Ihab Radwan.
